Out-of-hours works are required on Northbourne install new and modify existing storm water infrastructure on the median. This work will involving excavation of storm water infrastructure, concrete cutting and soil compaction. Work will be taking place between the Elouera –Gould Streets intersection and the Wakefield-Macarthur intersection.
The out-of-hours construction times will be8:00pm Friday – 6:00am Monday on the following weekends:
- 16-17 Feb
- 23-24 Feb
- 2-3 March
- 9-10 March
- 16-17 March
Traffic Management and Detours:
Generally this work will be undertaken in the median or adjacent verges and will only require lane reductions. For information on road closures and detours visit .
The equipment to be used includes: Light towers, light vehicles, excavators, vacuum trucks, road saws, compaction equipment, concreting plant.
Due to the nature of the work, some of the activity will be noisy. The project team will limit these impacts wherever possible by reducing the number of machines operating at the same time and turning off equipment when not in use. Non-tonal reversing beepers will be used and workers will be instructed to keep noise to a minimum.
