Final road asphalt laying will be undertaken on Flemington Road at the Well Station Drive intersection.
The hours of work will be 8:00pm – 6:00am on Wednesday night, 5 December and again from 8:00pm Friday 7 December to 6:00am Monday 10 December.
Traffic Management and Detours:
The intersection will be closed in stages to northbound and southbound traffic over this period. Detours will be in place and promoted on Traffic management will be operational and highly visible throughout the works, including signage and personnel.
The equipment to be used includes: road milling and asphalt laying equipment, road rollers, line marking equipment, roadsaws and trucks.
The project team will ensure the number of machines operating at the same time is limited and equipment turned off when not in use. Non-tonal reversing beepers will be used* and workers will be instructed to keep noise to a minimum.
