Asphalt works at the intersection of Ipima and Condamine Streets on Northbourne Avenue, 16,17 and 21 May and

Further asphalt laying works will be undertaken on Northbourne Avenue at the intersection of Ipima and Condamine Streets on Thursday and Friday 16-17 May and again on Tuesday 21 May.

Traffic Management and Detours:

  • No right-turn into Ipima and Condamine Streets from Northbourne Avenue
  • No right-turn onto Northbourne Avenue from Ipima and Condamine Streets
  • No through access across Northbourne Avenue between Ipima and Condamine Streets 
  • Detour via U-turns at the Masson-Girrahween Streets (southbound) and Macarthur-Wakefield Avenue intersection (northbound).

Additional Information:

The equipment to be used includes: road milling and asphalt laying equipment, road rollers, line marking equipment and trucks.

The project team will ensure the number of machines operating at the same time is limited and equipment turned off when not in use. Non-tonal reversing beepers will be used* and workers will be instructed to keep noise to a minimum.
