Canberra’s first stage of Light Rail is coming and construction is well underway with the Northern Corridor from EPIC to Gungahlin a hive of activity.
The construction of the Light Rail terminus at Hibberson St is a major milestone for the Light Rail Project. At completion it will transform Hibberson St as we know it, creating a shared pedestrian and light rail zone from Kate Crace St to Gungahlin Place.
The Canberra Metro team has made significant progress in construction along Flemington Rd between Manning Clark Rd and Kate Crace St, and is now looking to begin works in Hibberson St. As a result Hibberson St will be closing permanently to vehicular traffic from Monday 10 April 2017.
To help you learn more about the permanent road closure, current and future construction along the corridor we would like to invite you to come and meet representatives from our team.
